Scan List (To be removed)

Description​

The Scan List screen displays all scans in the current zone session organized into groups. Scans are automatically grouped when they share the same barcode/match code and match field values, allowing users to see how many times each unique item was scanned. This screen serves multiple purposes: reviewing what has been scanned, editing counts for existing scans, searching for specific items by barcode, marking scans with flags, and managing the session (checking out or deleting). Users can access this screen from the Add Scans screen to review their work before closing the zone.

How Scans Are Grouped​

Scans are grouped together when:

  1. They belong to the same session.
  2. They have the same barcode or match code (identifier).
  3. All match fields (like Description, Size, Color) have identical values.
  4. No scan in the sequence has a marker flag set (markers break groups).

Each group displays:

  • The item's identifying information (barcode, description, etc.).
  • Total count for that item across all scans in the group.
  • Individual scans within the group showing position, count, and timestamp.
  • The user who performed the scans.

Purpose and Functionality​

Review Scans​

  • View all scans in the current zone session in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
  • Expand groups to see individual scan details.
  • See which items have been scanned and how many times.
  • Identify items that need verification or have been verified.

Search for Scans​

  • Type or scan a barcode to quickly find and jump to that item's group in the list.
  • System applies barcode operations before searching (same transformations as in Add Scans).
  • Provides haptic feedback when scan is found or not found.

Edit Scan Counts​

When editScans permission is enabled:

  • Select any scan within a group.
  • Modify the count value.
  • System validates the count against regex rules and format (must be numeric).
  • Changes are saved when moving to another scan or submitting.
  • Validation errors show dialog with option to ignore warning if allowed.

Toggle Marker​

  • Mark scans with a flag to visually separate them in the list.
  • Markers break scan grouping - scans after a marker start a new group.
  • Useful for indicating checkpoints or problem items.

Manage Session​

When manageSession permission is enabled:

  • Check Out: Closes the zone session and returns to zones screen.
  • Delete Check In: Completely removes the zone session and all its scans.

Fields​

  • Search Text: Enter or scan a barcode to search for that item in the list.
  • Count (when editing): The quantity value for a selected scan.

Error Messages​

  • StepNotFoundException: The Count scan flow step is missing from configuration.
  • Count must be a number: The count value contains non-numeric characters.
  • [Custom Validation Message]: Count field-specific error from regex validation rules.
